Update: Ok, this (plain ol black and white) will have to work until I can convince my hubby that $60 for a blog makeover really is money well spent. So basically, get used to this.

I'm not digging this new look - I can't handle the title looking like this. Anyone have any suggestions? I think it is time for me to break down and pay the big bucks for a new look.

I like the owl and the colors. I don't know how you could make the text easier to read, though. Yeah, you should pay the big bucks. And why are you up so early?

I have a secret weapon that I've yet to use - but I hear she designs really cute pages for $20.00. Email me and I'll forward the information!

I like the design, but the text is hard to read. Maybe if the text background was a solid color? Did you make this yourself?

Yeah - The text is hard to read, but otherwise it's OK. ;-)

There are some really cute, FREE templates here. http://www.leeloublogs.blogspot.com/

Your blog shows up black and white on my computer... it's my school computer, though, so that could be the problem. I know there are lots of free templates at pyzam.com.

I used one of those design templates for the JSO blog and had the same issues. Somehow, Josh made a title in Photoshop (we chose the fonts, pictures, etc.) and we were able to plug it in for the title.

I've seen LeeLou and they have some cute ones. I've used Pyzam and thought it was easy. And if you click over to my blog, there is a "box" in the top righthand corner that will take you to Cutest Blogs on the Block with lots of decent freebies. My husband wouldn't go for a $60 blog makeover either. :(

With Mom Spark I just really, really messed with the html on a regular Blogger template. Time consuming, yet, but free!

You can import a picture or something for your header. You can get rid of that white border by changing a 'true' to 'false' in your html code. I can show you.

I need a free blog makeover. I thought everyone else paid $$ for their decor so I got stuck with the black and white one because, well, I guess I'm cheap.
