Bode decided he would go back to school to show off his lost tooth

Bode lost his first tooth shortly after attempting to drop out of kindergarten. Thankfully, it gave him a reason to go on living. 

Bode's first lost tooth experience could not be more opposite than Mia's - and thank goodness for that because there is only so much bloody drama that a family can handle. Bode yanked it out himself and bought in to the tooth fairy thing hook, line, and sinker. 

His best buddy, Miss Beth, made him a special box out of cold hard cash to keep his prized tooth in. He was a fan - obviously. So much so it made the cut as his very first show-and-tell item.

 In other news, this was almost the perfect picture of some of my favorite OC students who graciously took my kids exploring at the park.

Unfortunately, Mia took it to the next level with the crotch grab. Later she told me her underwear is getting too small. Duly noted.
