This is what happens when your 4-year-old wakes up before you: Nails are pink, toes are light purple, bathroom floor is still slightly pink, large pink stain on rug, and a few splatters on cabinet. Darn that snooze button....
Only last month did Paula and I have the master bathroom complete tear-down-and-do-over, removing, for all time, the fingernail polish remover that was spilled (slopped is a better word, actually), by Gena, when she was in that experimental stage with fingernail polish and the like. She also ruined a coffee table, while learning to make her fingernails and toenails beautiful! Turns out, it was all so worth it! I wouldn't take for the memories of our ruiined walls and furniture! Mia'a pic brought back a flood of memories for us! Thanks for sharing!
Okay, my Dad just said it all. That's a great picture. And how do you get her to wear those heavy one-piece pajamas? Raegan won't touch them with a ten foot pole. I can't help but picture A Christmas Story and a bunny costume when I see them.
I find Avery like this often as well. I must have threatened her pretty well one day because she never gets it anywhere! Me on the other hand has a red stain in my bedroom. I think I was trying to win mother of the year (Watching Oprah, shopping on OldNavy.com, talking on the phone, and dressing up the nails at the same time...the typical 4:00).

That is SO something that would happen to you. Maybe she rigged your alarm!
