Fake beaches are perfectly fine with me.

Raise your hand if you are terrified of the ocean and every time you think about it you can only picture your children's tiny little heads bobbing up and down as they are helplessly carried out into the deep blue while you watch in horror and then you sit straight up in bed in a cold sweat and vow to never let your children near any body of water ever again.

*Hand raised*

I am perfectly fine with the three little man-made beaches at this Disney Resort, seeing as how I'm slightly anxious about water.

The kids loved the pools.  They would swim 23 out of 24 hours a day if they could.  (I'm slightly less insanely paranoid about swimming pools.)

I am a little terrified of the ocean, too. ...mainly because of the animals that I can't see. Then, when I go snorkeling, I freak out all over again because there's this huge world under the water that I don't know anything about and have no place in.

Okay, just had to get that out.

We have yet to take Garrett to the ocean, but the thought of him being on the lake with us last weekend gave me day-mares...so he stayed with me on dry land.

I, too, have that insanely, terrifying fear when my kids are around water.

As many times as Matt and I went to Disney when we lived in Florida, I've never been to a Disney beach! Wow! It's beautiful!
