It's always popsicle season around here.

Because I love lying to my children, I have convinced them that frozen vegetables are mini-popsicles.  We have yellow (corn), orange (carrots), or green (peas) on hand all the time.

You should see the confused looks on their little friends faces.  It's kind of a cross between shock, disappointment and curiosity.

The unsuspecting cousin:
And he'll even clean up the floor for me so he's a keeper.

I suppose someday this will become embarrassing.  And when it does I guess they will have to get new friends I will have to change my evil ways (frozen Naked juice, perhaps).

But for now I say, "Eat up, Suckers."  Bwuahahahahaha....

I think this is the smartest idea ever!! I've often wondered if we NEVER had say like green beans EXCEPT for "dessert" if we could trick Olivia into thinking it's a special treat! Then we could have chocolate cake for dinner too and she probably wouldn't even like it right?

OH MY GOSH! I was just clicking from my blog to the next and yours popped up next. You are one of the FUNNIEST, most good-spirited-evil people I have ever run across. A gal after my own heart with the same twisted tricks!

I love the Popsicle idea and the comments you made about the cousin, having to find new friends, etc. I am dying laughing here!
