Mia asked me if the Easter Bunny was real. I casually said, "No," and moved on to something else. She seemed cool with that and I was relieved there wasn't the endless stream of questioning that I had predicted. I just couldn't bring myself to try and convince her that a giant rabbit hops into our house and leaves candy. No can do.
Now if I could just convince Bode everyone would be happy. And frankly, I don't blame him. Look at that thing and tell me you aren't a little scared (no offense to whoever is in this suit).
He may hate the big bad bunny but don't mess with his candy filled eggs.

It does look like he has a grumpy face and wants to eat Bode's head. I wonder how Zane did!?
Easter Bunny costumes freak me out! None of them look ok!!!! Lily asked me the other day if he was real too, and I changed the subject only cuz we were in line at a store and other kids were looking at me like..."SO????" Bad timing. But for Lily I know if I end the "thought" of the EB...then Santa is soon to follow! ; (
i think the bunny is Alyssa as for real or not real Monica who is 8 almost 9 still thinks they are real now i go to great mesure to make sure (my dad dresses up like santa and we let them get up and peak at him putting toys and eatting cookies) so they think it is true!!
I believed until I was in the 4th grade! Yes you read that correctly. I sobbed hysterically all night.
Canton figured it out last easter! I thought he'd figure out santa clause, but he never did, or at least he didn't let on if he did. So, he and I have our own secret and we don't ruin it for the other kids!
That is the creepiest bunny I have ever seen.
It is TOTALLY a creepy bunny and I was in it!! It's the most discusting thing I've ever had to wear and I've done it for 2 years now. I told Sarah I needed a raise - or maybe SSS should invest in a less disgruntled bunny with mangled whiskers costume. Sorry Bode...didn't mean to scar you for life.
Cadon let me know when I picked him up from SSS under no circumstances did he like the Easter bunny and had to be calmed Saturday night when he thought some strange rabbit was going to hop into the house to give him a present. He didn't want him there, present or no present.
We don't do the Easter bunny around our house either. Frankly, I have issues with Santa as well, but Ben won't let me touch that one...I think we have the same Elmo Easter basket. :)
I think Bode has masklophobia, a fear of mascots. He may be limited on future career choices, or at least entertainment options at college basketball games.
