Strep is in the house

Warning: The following picture may induce feelings of nausea and vomiting. Despite these reactions, you can't catch this over the computer, I promise.
So Friday night I felt like I was being run over by a Mack truck over and over again. In fact I dreamt that I was begging the truck to just kill me and get it over with. I called my mom at 6:50 AM and told her I needed her. She and Ahmo were here before Bode was even out of bed and were out the door with my children by 8:30 AM. This is why my family rocks my world. I drug myself to an after hours clinic and was actually relieved to find out I have strep. Strep makes me happy. Strep means a good dose of drugs and two days in bed (aka a vacation) and I am good to go. My little illness did scare Andy enough to spring him into action. He has been very motivated to get me back up and running again. He even brought me a Diet Coke with vanilla without any snide comments about how he will never understand women and their relationship with Sonic.
This is my first venture out of bed in a couple of days, and not to make you busy Mamas jealous or anything but it has been pretty taxing. I think I need another nap. Until next time...

I think the plague is going around, everyone's sick. It's so great to have relatives around to take care of the kids.

Hope you feel better soon! I can attest that strep as an adult is SO much worse than as a child!! Glad you're being well taken care of!

Note to strep: You were not invited to the Lashley house.

Hope you feel better soon Summer, I agree with Aubrey, it is MUCH worse as an adult!

Sorry! That is about the worse sickness I ever had. You are really fortunate to have your relatives to pick up the little ones for you. Go Andy!

I hope you feel better soon! Even with strep you still find a clever way to make me laugh! Enjoy your "vacation" - can I come over and share your coke? Maybe then I will get a vacation!

You make strep sound awesome. I am totally jealous. What I wouldnt give for a couple of quiet days in bed... even if it came with a Mack truck running me over.
