And God said...

...let there be sound. I consider any surgery that doesn't involve testicles a walk in the park. And this was pretty much like a Sunday afternoon stroll compared to last time.
No son, you can't have any soy milk...

However, you can have a Doctor cut open your ears, suck out all the puss, and shove plastic pieces into them. How does that sound?

Here's Andy trying to convince him that reading books is so much better than eating or drinking. Notice he is dressed for surgery success in his very own set of scrubs made by none other than my cooler-than-your-Grandma, Ahmo.
And two hours later Bode hears things:
"What was that?""I didn't know birds made noises!"
Maybe he will call me something besides Poo poo now...I'm not holding my breath.

I'm so glad the surgery went well. And I can't stop laughing that he calls you poo poo. That is awesome!

Yay! I'm so glad it went well! I love his scrubs too. I'm eager to see Mia's Dr. Seuss costume Monday...I'm sure I'll be impressed! No pressure though :-)

Were those last pics truly AFTER his surgery? I hope so. I hope he did very well and feels so much better. You will have to post how sleeping goes tonight!

Glad to hear he is doing well. A friend of mine, who secretly blog stalks you, said you should definately NOT give up the paci until after the ear business was taken care of. And those were VERY cute scrubs.

Still laughing about poo-poo over here.

Good to hear the report and hope that is just what the Bodester needed! Remember P was deaf the first 11 months until after tubes!
Love those scrubs too.

I'm so glad his surgery went well! He will feel so much better now! If they haven't warned you already, don't freak out when icky stuff oozes out of his ears (I'm not talking about right now - but later). Kaeden had several bouts with that the first year - but the ear drops cleared it up each time. The worst part? Holding them down for five minutes to put the drops in! :)
