Well, we are not sure, but the doctor is taking him off of the milk-based formula and starting him on soy-based. Mia had a milk allergy so I wasn't too surprised. I hope it is that and we don't have to play the guessing game for months....
Yikes! All three of my kids have had a bad sensitivity to me eating dairy when I breastfeed...sucks for me! I call it my miracle "lose the baby weight" diet! Kellan is just now getting to be okay with some dairy in my diet! Good luck...hopefully the soy will help!
Well, I think this post has pushed me into doing what I should have done a long time ago. I think I'll start working on posting my list of wonderful/weird/surprising things that a milk-free kid can eat/drink. I really do feel for you - and mostly Bode - because this just isn't fun for anyone. And I'm feeling especially grateful that Rachel doesn't have the allergy. Hang in there!

Poor little guy!! Does he only react with a rash? I hope the soy helps!!
Poor Baby! He is still adorable!
Does Mia still have a milk allergy? Poor Bode, I hope that clears up soon.
No, she has mostly grown out of it, although she still drinks soy milk and only has about two servings of dairy a week.
Check out Bode's lips, they look like they are going to explode!
Count the Alexanders in on the love part.
