First, and perhaps most important, would be my discovery of this lovely new thing I can't live without. I assume I am the last one to know about dry shampoo, but in case I'm not I feel the obligation to share this most blessed of inventions with all of you.
My lovely hairdresser told me this was better than the salon stuff (she'll probably get fired now. Sorry, Katie. If you do get fired for recommending a cheap grocery store hair product please know that I still expect you to cut my hair ;).
This product may be to blame for my rapid decline in hygiene habits, or maybe that's because I have way overcommitted myself this fall and literally have no time to shower.
I digress...
Anywho, this stuff is awesome and I hardly ever wash my hair now. I don't think I am supposed to be proud of that.
And then there is this adorable little boy and his latest masterpiece:
I don't know about you but those eyes are terrifying. Come to think of it, this entire drawing is terrifying.
I give this a B- C+ ok fine a D-.

I dunno... for his age, I think it shows decent attention to facial detail. I'd say at least a B+. :-) And I've never heard of dry shampoo. But I'm afraid it may be like Facebook for me: something a little too dangerous to get started on. I can see my sweet, long-suffering, don't-want-to-hurt-my-feelings husband quietly moving to the guest bed to get away from my stench at night. (I also am feeling a tad over- committed, although probably not nearly as much as you!)
So is that a self-portrait or one of his stressed out Mom? JK Love you!
thanks for posting this. I thought i'd heard of it and asked the lady who cut my hair last and she had no idea! I'm too lazy to search the beauty aisles I guess!
Okay, I foresee a post with you demonstrating how this stuff works...I am not convinced that I can get away from washing my hair after working out everyday...what do you think?
Never heard of dry shampoo. I would love to see some before/after pictures.
I am pretty sure we had dry shampoo when I was in high school, but it must have been gone for a while if it's new again! That was a LONG time ago. Hopefully it's also improved!
You can also use homemade dry shampoos if you are desperate; like just putting cornstarch in your hair and then brushing it out for about 5 minutes (don't do it clothed though, unless you don't mind white power all over your shirt).
I've definitely done baby powder in my hair before, but typically can't get away with not washing everyday. Stinkin thin hair...
A girl at work uses it, I've been wanting to get some! I've used baby powder before, but it's too messy and isn't very effective. It's been on my shopping list -- maybe someday I'll actually make it to the store.
